ANZ Hotshots

Kids learn to play with modified equipment suited to their age and ability. As they improve the courts get bigger and balls smaller and harder.

Kids have set competency milestones that need to be achieved in order to progress through each stage. They progress from Red Ball, through Orange Ball and into Green Ball. This provides them with a pathway to progress through.

All group lessons focus on the technical and tactical elements of the game in the hour long sessions.  Included in the group lesson enrolments, all Red, Orange and Green Ball kids get to participate in hour-long match play sessions on designated days in the week.  Match play is a crucial part of their tennis development as they learn scoring, tactics, consistency, and deal with winning and losing. Parents will be required to register for the match play sessions each week as numbers are limited.

Group lessons are coached Monday to Friday before school from 7:30am – 8:30am as well as in the afternoons from 3:15pm -5:15pm as well as on Saturday mornings.

Red, Orange and Green ball Lessons – For $30 per lesson kids get a 1 hour group lesson plus the option to participate in 1 hour of match play per week (equivalent to $15 per hour of tennis). Group lessons are restricted to 6 kids per coach per hour. If the class dynamic supports a slightly larger class, this will be considered.
